Backed by a vertically integrated manufacturing network, Porta is delivering one of the most significant investments in Australian decorative surfaces and substrate production. The new Mount Gambier facility spans over 175,000m², designed to bring advanced particleboard, MDF and value-add manufacturing capability together under one roof.

From 2027, the new continuous press particleboard line will increase substrate capacity by 45%. By 2028, MDF manufacturing capability will double, creating greater resilience, improved availability and long-term support for Australia’s builders, cabinetmakers, designers and manufacturers.
