“The design aimed to offer warmth and inspiration while ensuring that it suited the needs of family life,” Tsolair explains. “The selection of natural looking materials such as oak, stone, and marble also contributed to the home’s inviting atmosphere.”
Central to its impeccable design is polytec’s Thermolaminated Sussex door profile in Coastal Oak Woodmatt, which has been used for the cabinet doors throughout the home. Ork Design have created a handle free look in some places using the Bronte door profile. Subtle curves are present in the design using polytec’s matching laminate, adding a sense of flow and continuity to the home’s interiors.
“Coastal Oak Woodmatt was chosen for its natural warmth and earthy tones, which perfectly complement the home’s overall aesthetic,” Tsolair says. “It adds a refined yet comfortable touch, aligning with the desire for a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.”
The Sussex door was chosen to align with the modern, elegant design of the home with its slimline profile, offering a sleek style, further adding to the sophistication of the project. The durability of the Thermolaminated doors was essential for this family-focussed home, making them a practical yet stylish choice for cabinetry.
Another stand-out feature is the sculptural staircase, creating an artistic element. Additionally, the seamless flow from indoor living spaces to the alfresco area, enhances the overall appeal.
